Program Description

Body

In Pittsburgh, Mt. Washington is high, the rivers are low, and sometimes we get
confused on which way to go!

So Free Ride is here, to lend you a hand, and lead you into Sustainable Biking land!
Free Ride Pittsburgh, in collaboration with Sustainable Saturdays at the Dormont Library, brings you “Useful Repairs”! A 2 hour hands-on workshop introducing you to bicycle maintenance!

In this workshop you’ll get a broad understanding of bicycle maintenance and repair! Touching on areas such as:
• flat tires
• brake adjustments
• shifting adjustments

Registration is required if you would like to bring a bike to work on during the
workshop —as bikes take up space and space is limited at the library!
Bringing a bike is not required. You can still attend and learn the info to take with you!

To bring a bike, you must register by Saturday May 24th. If you won’t be bringing a bike, registration is still recommended so we can get a head count, but it is not required.

People under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
